The sweetest memory I have is the day I said "I do" to the love of my life. Being married to the "One" you choose to love and be loved for the rest of your life is a privilege and a gift, it's the sweetest thing you'll ever experience if you're lucky. I loved my wedding day so much and I wish I could relive so many moments again. Gratefully I have many pictures and videos to look back on when I'm feeling nostalgic. I wish I could go back and savor the day a little longer.
A few wishes. I wish I could were my gorgeous blush pink Maggie Sottero dress again. I wish I could walk down the "aisle" in the beautiful Thalatta Estates in Palmetto Bay, FL with my father all over again. I wish I could dance again to the surprise performance by the talented and famous Haitian artist Michael Benjamin (a surprise orchestrated by my mom, my sister and brother.) Most importantly I wish I could spend more time gazing into my husband eyes and dance like no one is watching.
Most people don't know this but my husband Henriot was my first crush growing up, I knew him as a child and when I was 9 years old I was so smitten by him and asked him once to be my boyfriend, he said ok playfully and I believed him for a while. Twenty something years later my dream became a reality with a beautiful celebration and an exceptional love story. Tell your love story often and will it ignite that passion in you.
Below are some of my favorite photos from my wedding day.
