If you ask me what my favorite flower is, I'll ask you in return what season we're in. With different flowers blossoming each season, it's so hard to pick a favorite from the varieties of flowers out there with an assortment of colors, shapes, textures and scents. If you force me to choose then I'll probably say my top four are Peonies, Hydrangeas, Roses and Tulips. However come summer you'll find Orchids all over my house, Orchids in my living room, dining room and kitchen. Luckily for me there's a few nurseries around the corner from my house where there's orchids galore. A collection of Orchids with specials like buy two get one free which will leave you buying way more than you can carry.
Orchids are no more difficult to care for than ordinary houseplants. These gorgeous plants will make a statement in your home. And remember the flower you have in your living room, or kitchen can be totally different from the one on your nightstand so don't limit yourself. In my recent trip to a Heavenly Garden in Homestead FL, it was so hard for me to actually pick one, they were all beautiful.
